Zeiss 85 f/1.4 & 135 f/1.8 animal portraits

The Zeiss 85mm is marketed by Sony principally as portrait prime. I actually find it allows more intimate animal shots and a broad range of subjects with impeccable speed and sharpness. My only (and fairly substantial) reservation is around the magenta fringe CA that occurs in high contrast and difficult light situations at all apertures. Some lenses can reduce CA by stopping down but this doesn't seem to be the case with this otherwise delicious prime. (This makes nocturnal bulb explosures also unacceptable with this lens IMO). The colour rendition is especially pleasing. Focus is fast and quiet. It is also relatively portable and compact in dimensions for a carry-around lens while remaining solidly built from metal.
